Free Meals for Kids Offered Again This Summer

Starting Monday, June 7th, you may pick up a weekly food sack for each of your kids. Breakfast and lunches are included. You can pick it up from the cafeteria on Mondays from 12 to 5 pm or on Tuesdays from 7 to 12 am. Please email Rebecca Briggs at rebbriggs@wayne.k12.ok.us or send a text to the district Remind.

The FCC is offering an Emergency Broadband Benefit for Eligible Families

The Emergency Broadband Benefit will provide a discount of up to $50 per month toward broadband service for eligible families and households who are struggling to stay connected during the #COVID19 pandemic. Qualifying households on Tribal lands can receive a discount of up to $75 per month for service. Eligible households can also receive a discount of up to $100 for the purchase of a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers. You Are Invited to the Graduation of the Class of 2021!

Two events are planned for the Wayne Public Schools graduating Class of 2021. First up is a town parade on Friday, May 14th at 7:00 pm throughout the Town of Wayne. The second will be Graduation at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 15th at D.S. "Zack" Powell Stadium.

Wayne Middle School and High School Pre-Enrollment Going on Now

Students in the Middle and High Schools are Pre-Enrolling for the 2021-2022 school year from now until April 1. Forms went home with the students or are on this webpage to print and bring back or email to Ms. Matthews at micmatthews@wayne.k12.ok.us.

Students need to bring their enrollment forms back completely filled out by April 1 or classes may be picked for them!

Wayne Schools out Wednesday Feb 10

After talking to the National Weather Service and out of an abundance of caution, tomorrow will be a virtual day for Wayne Schools. Students should be bringing home work that will need to be completed and assignments will be on Google Classroom. The moisture will not be coming in until early morning so the ballgame tonight will still be played. Bundle up and stay warm.
