J.O.M. Supplies to Be Given Out First Day of School

J.O.M. Indian Education supplies for elementary students will be given to your child's teacher. In middle school and high school, sacks of basic supplies will be given to them directly on the first day of school. If your student is new, supplies will not be given until a citizenship card is uploaded to the Student Records portal.

Wayne Public Schools Return to School Plan Approved at Board Meeting

This plan may be modified by the administration as new information and guidelines arise. The district will stay in close contact with health officials and state leaders to assure the best possible courses of action are taken to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Wayne Academy of Virtual Education Coming this Fall

This fall there will be three ways to be a Wayne Bulldog. Wayne Public Schools introduces the W.A.V.E. (Wayne Academy of Virtual Education) which provides you with choices for your learning in all grades.

Wayne Middle School and High School Cheer Tryouts Coming in July

Pick up the cheer application on Monday, June 29th, or Tuesday, June 30th at the High School from 8:00 am until noon. There will be a $20 application fee which should be turned in with the application at the first clinic on July 6th.

Clinics are Monday through Wednesday, July 6, 7, and 8 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. You must attend all clinics. Bring your own water bottle and wear black shorts and a white t-shirt.

Try-outs will be held in the auditorium on Friday, July 10th at noon.

Wayne Schools Announces Retirement of Educator LeaAnn Boles

Lea Ann Boles, who taught all 29 years of her career here at Wayne and has spent the last several years as a 4th-grade teacher, has announced her retirement. LeaAnn was a graduate of Wayne and returned after getting her Elementary Education Degree.

Athletic Physicals to be Offered this Week

Wayne Public Schools will have sports physicals on Thursday, May 28 starting at Noon. They will be in the auditorium and cost $5.

Athletes will not be able to begin summer workouts on June 1st without a recent physical.

Wayne Public Schools to Look at Plan to Resume Athletics and Activities

Following May 22nd's OSSAA special meeting, Wayne Public Schools will begin to evalute and divise a plan to safely integrate our student athletes and coaching staff back into activities starting on June 1st. No activities will be allowed before June 1st. CDC, State and local guidelines will still be followed. We will update you with this plan as soon as possible.
