There will be an American Indian Federal Programs (JOM and Title VI) meeting starting at 1:00 p.m. in the Wayne High School Pavilion on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Everyone is welcome to attend. Tentative Graduation Information has been announced for the Class of 2020.
***This Friday, April 17 Pick up Caps and Gowns by Appointment ONLY!! You must also return uniforms, sports equipment, & anything else that is school property when you pick up your cap and gown.
****May 18 at 7 pm will be a parade of seniors!
****July 31 at 10 am will be graduation practice.
****August 1 at 2 pm will be GRADUATION!!
Specific information for the parade and graduation will be sent out as we get closer to each date.
**Make sure you contact either Ms. Matthews or Mrs. Mantooth with the time of day for your Friday pick up and the name of the person picking up for you if it won't be you. Appointments need to be made by Wednesday, please! Also note that pick up will be by drive through only.
Wayne's 13th Annual Art Show will be virtual this year, and Ms. Matthews has opened it up to the entire school. Artworks are due April 30 from ANY STUDENT that goes to Wayne Schools. Certificates will be awarded in each age division and media category and the Best in Show, which carries a $50 prize, will be awarded for the best artwork in the entire show. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Parents will be able to pick up elementary students’ supplies on: *Tuesday, April 7th between the hours of 9:00 am to noon *Wednesday, April 8th between the hours of 9:00 am to noon All supplies will be distributed using the parent pick-up line on the north end of the elementary and early childhood buildings. Parents should remain in their vehicles and supplies will be brought to the car. If these days and times are not convenient for you, please contact your child’s teacher or April Selman at firstname.lastname@example.org and other arrangements will be made.
MIDDLE SCHOOL PLEASE email Heather Spray to set up a time to pick up personal items only. Middle school will be by appointment and only allowing 1 student at a time in the building per 5 minute intervals. Times for these appointments will be from: *Tuesday, April 7th between the hours of 9:00 am to noon *Wednesday, April 8th between the hours of 9:00 to noon Email Heather at email@example.com to set up your appointment. Middle school parents - please park in front of the middle school.
