Wayne Schools brings two propositions to voters Tuesday, February 14

Proposition 1 on the bond issue addresses a need within our district
that began with the complete remodel of the cafeteria in the summer of
2021. Proposition 1 will address the second phase of that project by
continuing those renovations across the campus. New flooring, paint,
lighting and ceilings will be infused into all common areas of the
campus, and continue throughout as many classrooms as funds will
allow.

Proposition 1 also continues security updates across campus. These updates will include upgrading the security camera system, new locksets on classroom doors, and the continuation of new door and lock
installation on buildings.

These measures in Proposition 1 will update and refresh our buildings and allow us to designate funds for other projects needed on campus.
