This is my first year as a Wayne Bulldog Teacher and I've never been happier. I am teaching kindergarten which is an exciting grade. They are so full of enthusiasm for learning. Teaching at Wayne is a dream come true. I feel like I've finally come home. I've always been involved in the Wayne Schools. I did my student teaching here and my son and nephews graduated school at Wayne. I currently have a great nephew who is a sophomore at Wayne. I taught 31 years at Lexington and 1 year at Noble.
I live in the Wayne District in the Rosedale area on a farm with horses, cattle, dogs, cats and a number of rescued animals. I'm passionate about animals and rodeo. I have trained horses and ran barrels most of my life. My nephews both work in rodeo, one as a rodeo bullfighter and the other as a pick up man and bull dragger.
I also like to travel. I spent three summers in Cody, Wyoming as a mentor and chaperone for rodeo youth.
Teaching has always been the most important part of my life.
