Shirley Sutterfield Byers, 1963 graduate of Wayne High School, stopped by with her husband Johnnie today to pay it forward. She is a retired teacher and knows the challenges of new teachers getting their classes ready for students. She wanted the $100 to go to a new teacher and since we had several, Mr. Ringwald put our 1st and 2nd year teachers in a hat and Megan Turner and Chloe Trent will split the gift.
